Dear students of the Master’s programme DaZ/DaF who are interested in an internship, we would like to inform you that it will again be possible to complete an internship in the DAWID project from September 2023 (or later; in presence, if possible).
The DAWID project (German as a foreign, second, new … Language of science/ Support Measures for Students) aims to support international students of the University of Hildesheim in developing their (academic) language skills.
The following services are offered for this purpose: individual writing and language learning consulting, correction consulting, learning platform for German as a foreign, second, new … language of science, A1/A2 language courses, seminar „German as a foreign language of science (for international students)“ and tutorials with a focus on language for special purposes.
As an intern, you will support the project coordinator Ms. Effertz, for example, with the correction consulting, observe German courses, and you can also prepare and instruct parts of them yourself by arrangement. In addition, you can participate in the creation of content for the learning platform. You will also gain insights into project-related research and organisation as well as communication with students and cooperation partners. Another area of responsibility is updating the project homepage www.uni-hildesheim.de/dawid and the Instagram Account of the project project_dawid.

There is no remuneration for the internship at the University of Hildesheim, as it is a compulsory internship in the Master DaZ/DaF. Please send us your proposal for the time frame and scope of the internship.
